Palmer Engineering Group, Ltd. was formed by Mark B. Palmer, P.E. in June 1994 to provide professional services to both the public and private sectors in the areas of Civil Engineering, Project Administration and Erosion Control. In July 2005 the firm name was changed from Palmer & Lauder Engineers, Inc. to Palmer Engineering Group, Ltd.  The firm’s principal, Mark B. Palmer has over 30 years experience in both the public and private sectors giving him excellent insight into identifying clients needs and providing practical, cost-efficient, and environmentally sound solutions to projects.

The firm works to produce successful projects by promoting the use of professional and technical skills combined with clear communication and close working relationships with local, state and federal agencies. We strive to produce a well-engineered product that is completed in an expedient manner, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. Our firm believes personal attention is a must to ensure project completion in a cost-effective and timely manner.

Centrally located in Carson City, Palmer Engineering Group, Ltd. has provided services for completion of successful projects in the surrounding counties and cities of northern Nevada and California, granting assurances of its professional expertise and ability to provide each client with quality services on a wide variety of projects.

Company manpower currently consists of three licensed civil engineers, one drafter, and one office manager. A review of the representative projects list indicates a wide diversity of expertise. Since the firm’s inception in 1994, it has been involved in over 2,000 projects with construction costs of over 75 million dollars.
